Pacific Palmer Iced Blend

Sweet tea and lemonade had a baby, and naturally, we invited it to the porch.

Pacific Palmer Iced Blend starts with organic black tea and piles on the lemon with organic lemon peel, lemongrass, and lemon myrtle. The result lands somewhere between a tall glass of sweet tea and fresh lemonade — bright, citrusy, refreshing, and pretty much made for ice.

Around here, iced tea isn't exactly a seasonal beverage. But this one's especially good when it's hotter than it has any business being outside and you need something cold enough to make you forget about the humidity for five minutes.

Sweeten it Southern-style, leave it unsweet if that's your thing, or pour it over a ridiculous amount of ice. You can even freeze a batch into tea pops when summer gets particularly disrespectful.

How to steep

1 HEAPING TSP
Scoop loose-leaf tea into the infuser

205° F
Heat fresh water

8 FL OZ
Pour water over tea, add milk and sugar if desired

3-4 MINS
Stay close to this steep time for optimal flavor

1-2 STEEPS
Use fresh leaves often
