Refund policy

At Southern Grounds Coffee Co., we want you to love every cup. Because coffee is a perishable food product, our return policy is a little different from non-food items.

Returns

We do not accept returns on opened coffee products, including whole bean or ground coffee, due to freshness and food safety standards.

Unopened, unused coffee products in their original sealed packaging may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. Proof of purchase is required. Contact us first for any order issues or approved returns. Return instructions will be provided if applicable.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Orders

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item arrives:

  • damaged
  • defective
  • incorrect
  • missing items

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

southerngroundscoffee.contact@gmail.com

We’ll evaluate the issue and make it right through a replacement, store credit, or refund when appropriate.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened coffee bags
  • Ground coffee once shipped
  • Perishable food items
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or special-order items

Exchanges

Because coffee freshness matters, we do not offer direct exchanges on opened coffee products.

If there is an issue with your order, contact us and we’ll work with you on the best solution.


European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If merchandise is shipped to the European Union, customers have the right to cancel or return eligible unopened items within 14 days of delivery for any reason.

Returned items must be unopened, unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you if the refund is approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that banks and credit card providers may require additional time to post funds.
